The Branson Ferris Wheel is a large ride with 40 gondolas providing stunning views across the Branson Theater District and the surrounding Ozark Mountains. The wheel, which rotates to a height of 150 feet (46 meters), is illuminated at night with 16,000 LED lights. See this glorious spectacle in the evening, when its colorful patterns brighten the skies.
In the daytime, appreciate the elegant red-and-white color scheme of the giant wheel and its spindles. Climb aboard to be transported to the dizzying summit, where you’ll be treated to unobstructed views of the countryside. See the peaks of the Ozark Mountains rising beyond the sights of the Branson Theater District. Take a romantic ride with your partner at sunset and watch from your vantage point as the sky turns crimson.
In the evening, tune your radio to 90.9 FM to listen to the hourly music-and-light shows that synchronize with the wheel. The sound show is played through the ride’s speakers, but the radio also allows listening from farther away, with the large wheel remaining in view. Attend one of the events occasionally organized around the ride, including festivals and food stalls.
Note that the wheel was originally in place on the Navy Pier in Chicago. It was installed in its current location in 2016 and has a ride time of 15 minutes. There is a fee for a ticket with discounts for kids. Toddlers ride for free. The wheel opens daily from late morning until late evening.
