This was literally a couple of minutes away from Silver Dollar City. However, you pay for that convenience. We did prepare a lot of our food in the kitchen and used their electric grill on the screened-in balcony, so our food costs were lower by doing that. The place isn't as big as the photos make it out to be, and even though it may sleep 16, there weren't 16 chairs that everyone could sit on (7 around the dining table, three bar stools, a couch, a chair, and a rocking chair in the living room; the balcony had probably 6-8 places to sit, but it was outdoors.) The shower head in the upstairs right bedroom had little water flowing from it, but the other bathrooms were fine. Decor was very nice. Bedding was comfortable. Air conditioning (which you need in SW Missouri) kept the whole place very cool. Having a key code for the front door was much better that having to keep track of a key amongst all family members.
