Spacious, 4,500 sq. ft. house that sleeps 12 set on 22 acres with ponds, streams, and hiking. This one-of-a-kind property is a truly peaceful escape to nature - but still minutes from town and skiing.
The Ponder Yonder Retreat offers a luxurious getaway for two or three families all year round. With four bedrooms and 4.5 baths (including three en-suite primary bedrooms and a bunk-bed room) and two spacious living rooms (one on each floor), there is room for groups to gather and plenty of space for adults and children to do their own thing. Solar panels generate all of the house's electricity and Powerwall batteries offer backup power for the whole house. Between the game room, hot tub, and fully-stocked kitchen, you can stay busy inside for days – but what’s truly special is the property, which offers acres of ponds, streams, and forest to explore.

THE PROPERTY
Guests are welcome to use the two canoes, tandem kayak, and six kid-sized kayaks to explore acres of ponds. The property has plenty of space for hiking/snowshoeing in the woods and trails to discover several small waterfalls and streams. In the spring, summer, and fall, keep an eye out for the local beavers, otters, frogs, fish, and birds that share our land! In the winter, snowmobilers can enjoy the VAST snowmobiling network accessible from the property.
Guests use the hot tub, bunk beds, pond, and boats at their own risk. The cabins on the property are not usable.
The last half mile of road and the driveway are gravel. Both are regularly plowed, but 4WD is recommended in the winter.
