Netherham is a cosy picturesque 18th century cottage in the heart of the beautiful North Devon village of Georgeham. It is self-contained and offers everything for a relaxing stay. The interior retains original features such as a bread oven, inglenook and beamed ceilings, with all the comforts of a modern kitchen and bathroom. This property does have its original steep staircase so may not be suited to all.
Georgeham's amenities include a well stocked local shop incorporating a post office and 2 outstanding pubs, all within 5 minutes walk. Nearby, the coastal village of Croyde offers a further range of amenities and of course infamous surfing, other nearby beaches include Putsborough, Woolacombe and Saunton Sands. Also at Saunton is the Golf Club with its renowned championship East and West Courses - links golf at its finest.
The cottage doesn’t have dedicated parking. You can park on the road out front, this does get narrow but if you continue slightly further along the road this widens again. There is also a free village car park 5 minutes walk away or parking at the village hall.
The cottage comes with a free car parking pass for our nearest beach Putsborough Sands, a beautiful long golden beach with cafe, surf school and facilities.
