"We stayed for one night visiting the surrounding areas. The chalet is very nice, roomy with well equipped with kitchen living area. We dined in the Bistro & Ellie recommended the 3 course special for $59 per person. This was the best dinner we had so far during our trip in Tasmania. "As soon as I saw The Studio on the website my heart was taken and I felt drawn to it. Our stay lived up to expectations and more. The location is magical, the private road winding through an entry cut through the rock, with wildlife grazing on the sides and then opening to a private perfect little house with a private beach area and fabulous 270 degree views. The house might look small but the amenities are more than adequate. The kitchen contains nearly all you could need and flows into a comfortable living area with a bookcase full of books and some games to pass the time, as well as a large TV. A table and chairs for two sits in the large picture window near the wood heater. The wood heater fire was especially wonderful and made our stay cost and warm. Nigel was very accommodating and taught us how to make a fire, and he cut and collected wood to set us up. The spacious bedroom area overlooking the living area has a very comfortable bed and space to move, and a reverse cycle heater. But if you get the fire just right it should keep the upstairs just right all night. There’s a door out to a huge deck which would be wonderful in warmer months. I honestly could live there and was so sad to leave. I hope I get to go back one day. Thankyou so much, Nigel and Denise. "
"This place is fantastic for travelling families, even in winter. Nice and quiet location, close to the airport and with plenty of things to do onsite, including playground, games room and board games for the apartment available at reception. The three bedroom deluxe apartment is warm and cosy. "
