a great place for two families
We really enjoyed this place. It is large, well stocked and perfectly furnished. Top notch! only downside is that you are a bit far away from the slopes. Shuttle is only once every hour, so it is easier to drive and pay for parking.

Great Location, Beautiful Home
This property was awesome for our family of 4. Each child had a bedroom and a bathroom which was nice. It had all the necessities in the kitchen. Humidifiers were available in each bedroom which was great for the dry mountain air. We did several walks and hikes from right at our cabin. Pool table was a huge hit with my 12 year old son. Would definitely stay again!

Had a great time in Breckenridge and this home added to the pleasure! A great place for the family to hang out for the week! We enjoyed gazing at the stars from the hot tub in the evening as well as the view of the mountains from the front deck during the day! The pool table in the lower level really rounded the family time experience. A+

Beatiful house and great view
This was our second stay at this house, which is equipped with practically everything, to a high standard. It's perfect for 6 to 8 people. Great views of the ski hills across the valley with beautiful sunrises and sunsets. The location, 15 minutes outside Breckenridge, might be a disadvantage for people who want to go to a restaurant every night, but we enjoyed cooking meals at the house so it wasn't a problem for us.

Great House, Great location, Great Amenities
A short drive up the mountain just at the south end of main street. The house is well worth the drive! The views were great, the hot tube was fabulous, the pool table was exceptional! Overall a great place to spend some quality family time. The house can accommodate a large group get together while still providing enough space to get away from the crowds if wanted. The kitchen was well furnished and our family of 6 adults were very comfortable! The owners have done a nice job with opening up this house for our use!

Solid and Comfortable
Spacious and away from downtown a few miles, elevation of 10,500 ft and great views of ski slopes. Could have been a bit cleaner, found some food items under the beds and very little soap for some reason. Plenty of towels, great pool table and spacious hot tub, well stocked kitchen. Couldn't fit our rental SUV with ski rack into the garage due to low clearance. Overall, a great stay in Breckenridge for our family

Spectacular Property!
-View of Breckenridge was fabulous! -Close to the village. -Clean and open. -Great hot tub. -Great kitchen. -Bedding and towels were clean. -Loved the gas fire places. -Pool table was fun! -Highly Recommend!!!!! —Be prepared for shortness of breath due to high altitude. Would encourage offering small bottle of oxygen as elevation of house is approx. 10,000 feet above sea level. —Laundry on sight… dryer is gas and required mutiple cycles per load for drying.

Lovely Mountain Home vacation
Mountain High Retreat was a wonderful home for our ski vacation with the extended family. It has an amazing view and tons of space to spread out. The 4 1/2 bathrooms were great for our group of 3 families and the huge lower level with sleeper sofa was terrific. The living space, kitchen and dining room were all very comfortable and great for our group and the hot tub was also big and nice. The only thing people need to be aware of it that the home is 3 miles up Mt Baldy from town and the altitude might be an issue. Also, the driveway up to the home is steep so the suggestion about a 4 wheel or all wheel drive is important. The good news is the shuttle stop is fairly close and very doable. All in all a great place to stay with a large group.

Absolutely beautiful property with lots of space for everyone!
This home is absolutely gorgeous and in a beautiful and private location. The pictures do not capture how lovely this home really is. It has a bathroom connected to each bedroom and a half bath by the laundry room, which is very convenient for a large family. There were tons of towels available, and the washer & dryer was a really nice thing to have. The kitchen was stocked with almost every appliance and utensil imaginaeable! The downstairs level had a huge family game / media room that was a really great place for kids and adults to spend time together. The hot tub out on the upper deck was also a very nice addition to this property. The home was also decorated as if the owners lived there full-time. I highly recommend this home for your stay in Breckenridge. We plan to book it every time we visit in the future!

Great Property - Amazing Views with All You'd Want Inside
Great property, updated and exactly as pictured at VRBO. Super clean, well stocked, everything worked and in general exceeded our expectations. There were 5 adults in our party and there were zero complaints at the end of our four-day stay. One warning, the elevation is high and I'm guessing over 1,500 feet above Breck which itself is 9,600 feet. We are all in workout fit shape but coming from sea level (Cape Cod) to this elevation took a day for us to adjust. We'd return in a minute if the opportunity presented itself and you'd feel the same unless you are impossible to please. If you planning a non-winter stay take Boreas Pass road to the top and ride (your vehicle) on the old rail line to the Continental Divide at Boreas Pass, well worth the trip. Thanks to the owners for sharing their lovely home.

Beautiful place , type of heating a little hard to control
This place was stunning. Bedrooms very beautiful, very large and comfortable. We had issues with the heater- it is a different kind that is harder to regulate throughout the rooms. We also wish there were garage door openers. My biggest complaint is that I left some very precious photos there, and tried contacting the host many times without a response, and no check in about helping to find these. I was very disappointed about that. The coffee table also has sharp edges- my son slipped and hit his head and we needed 4 stitches. So if you are traveling with kids- put a blanket over it or move it out of the way, not the safest place for small kids.

Great Location to relax
Everything was so easy! The property was exactly as described. It was a great location for us. Our family had owned a townhouse off of Baldy rd years ago when it was first being developed. This brought back all those great memories and made new ones. Hiked to the Iowa mine building and took jeeps up to the mine shaft and old water tower. We use to cross country ski up to these. The view of the ski slopes is amazing from the front deck. The whole house is beautifully decorated with southwest flair. Kitchen is very well equipped. Even spices. I always bring my own but no need here. We brought our daughters family with 2 little boys so we had a lot of room to stretch out and still really did not get to take advantage of the family game room downstairs. The whole process was so easy I kept thinking something had to go wrong!!! But it DIDN’T. It was perfect! Made so many great memories with our grandkids. Just like we did with our daughter years ago. We have been coming to Breckenridge for years to ski and we have seen so many changes!!!! It’s not the same little quaint town it use to be , with 1 Main Street but still one of our favorite places to visit. Will definitely keep coming back

Spacious with a great view of the ski mountains
Our family really enjoyed our stay here in Breckenridge. There is a lot of space and the lower level living area was great for hanging out, playing pool and watching videos. The main level got pretty warm with the sun shining in through the large glass windows in the afternoon. The view through those windows was great! We opened some windows and it eventually cooled down.

Great Place! Just needs better technology, specifically the main tv @ Kitchen
Beautiful place but probably should have had a vehicle. The bus system is a pain especially when a blizzard comes through and the buses don't stick to their schedule. Had a blast though! Awesome hot tub and incredible view of the mountains!

Our Stay
All in all a good stay. Loved the hot tub, game room on the lower level and the living space on the main floor. Well stocked with kitchenware and towels. A whole house humidifier would be a wise upgrade. The driveway was not cleared of snow and was very difficult to use. As snow melted around the front door and driveway many beer cans and cigars were exposed. Our only suggestion would be to keep the grounds outside picked up and move snow more often.

Amazing Stay
This property was absolutely perfect. The location was a short distance from Main Street, but still far enough away to feel secluded. View was fantastic. The home was clean & all appliances worked great. We really appreciated all the lights labeled & directions for any small questions we may have had. You can tell the owners take pride in their home. I would definitely recommend to anyone & would love to stay there again!
