Easy walk to the quaint shops in Old Town and if you walk right across the park you'll find a hidden gem - a Botanical Garden established in the 1500s! We loved our stay at Hotel Rochat. "It was overall of excellent standards however beds not exactly comfortable and pillows were extremely soft (in a bad way) and beds did not seem to be straight as we got the sensation that the head part was collapsing making you feel like you are sleeping upside down. Also, extremely gimmicky to use lifts due to different cards and designated lifts for different areas. Having said that, staff was incredibly polite and professional, they accommodated a very special request to fantastic standards and promptly, hotel was clean as you’d expect and overall a very high standard service (including catering)"

"Check-in was easy and friendly. We had a superior room which was quiet, facing out to a courtyard rather than the road. The bed was very comfortable and the facilities good. It was great to have a pool as well as the gym. The breakfasts were plentiful, setting us up for the day. We were initially unsure about the hotel's location as the route took us sideways away from the recognisable routes to the old town, past a park and down a steep, secluded slope. However once there the hotel is on a wide road served by trams and with the theatre area only about 10 minutes walk away. There is also a parallel street full of bars and restaurants so there is plenty of choice nearby. Overall, we were very happy with our choice of hotel and recommend it highly."

Responsive to my needs - directions, transit, schedules, local dining options, etc. Room as advertised. Nicely furnished, clean, great condition, airy and spacious. I don’t write many reviews but Hotel Spalentor should be recognized for the gem it is. "
