This property is great for its proximity to downtown and it is in a fairly decent neighborhood with dedicated off-street parking which is a big plus.
Access to the upper unit was easy and convenient from the parking area. It has a small side yard with a grill (it will need a propane swap soon) and some outdoor chairs for sitting out and enjoying the weather.
If the temps get into the mid to upper 80's, there is no AC, so it can get hot and stuffy as what happened to us. There were two fans which helped, as we stuck one in the window and used the other to move air. There is also a ceiling fan which helps.
The full kitchen, with working appliances, stocked spices, coffee and dishes is a huge plus. We were able to buy groceries, cook dinner and eat in a few nights to save a bit of money. The kitchen faucet needs tightened up and properly mounted. There are also ants, so maybe an exterminator.
The laundry is in the kitchen and makes it a bit tight, but it is manageable and was another great addition as we were staying 7 days.
The bedroom is set up as a master.
The claw tub/shower combo could use some work as the shower part is very loose. It is also hard to step out of the tub to the floor.
In my opinion, this is a great place for a single or a couple, as the sleeper sofa is not ideal for another full-size adult.
The building exterior could use general maintenance.
Check out is 10:00 AM and inconvenient for business travelers who are working, noon would be better.
