"The property is well situated for exploring Exmoor, both on foot and by car. A short walk takes you to Exford where there are 2 pubs and a teashop(the hub for star gazing nights on a Thursday). There is also a fantastic playground on the green. We were welcomed with home baked bread, spreads and a delicious cake. The cottage has everything, even towels for our dog. "Comprehensive directions to the property which we found sparkling clean and spacious. Lovely lounge area with tv and dvd. Great beds and bath/shower rooms. Outside sit around the large garden table with a glass of something and watch the beautiful sunset across the valley."

"We had a fabulous time at the Lodge! This house is a gem... like walking into the country place you wish your family had had when you were growing up! Our family (myself, my husband, 2 teenagers and a small dog) had such a magical stay for one week of the Easter break. We love how so many of the details and history of the lodge have been preserved, and we felt very at home right away. "A relaxing stay in the picture perfect area! Not as dog friendly as hoped and not enough seating for 5 but a beautiful setting, well located for exploring the area."

"2nd time we have been stayed in thd hayloft lovely cottage plenty of room for a family of 6 and our dog as dog friendly. Everything you need comfortable clean and fenced garden overlooking sheep. Lovely covered swimming pool never busy and great games room for the kids and adults too. Aiden is very accommodating and very helpful. 10mins drive to combe Martin and not much further to ilfracombe or lynton and Lynmouth. Would highly recommend and will definitely return.
