A Truly Unique Home In A Llittle Slice Of Heaven! With a great stone firepit, our very own beach unaffected by crowds, a soapstone wood stove for those cold winter nights and a modern HVAC system - including central AC to take the edge of the occasional summer heatwave, this just may be the perfect spot for your vacation! In the winter, you will love our location - just 1 mile from the ski lifts, our 2+ miles of trails for walking/snowshoeing/x-country skiing, our on-site 25x45 ice skating rink, the soapstone wood stove, and of course the inviting hot tub. In the summer, not many homes offer this type of amenities: private beach access and swimming or fishing on the Amoonoosuc River, a volleyball court, walking trails, firepit, wildlife watching, and central air conditioning.
A one of the kind home in Bretton Woods, this recently built home was inspired by a yurt and is centered around a stunningly unique central spiral staircase carved around a dead tree with its roots showing in the center. The staircase gives access to the top floor, where you will find a cozy master bedroom with an exposed walk in closet area, a rustic-theme bathroom with pebble and stone shower, and butcher block top vanity. On the same floor, the open balcony-style loft area includes a full size bed. In addition to these 2 sleeping areas and bathroom upstairs, the main level features an additional 2 bedrooms and another bathroom, plus open concept kitchen/dining/living room. The modern kitchen features stainless appliances and wood countertops, and has all the appliances you would expect from a well stocked kitchen, including a Keurig and an Instapot, plus all the pots and pans and utensils needed to make a meal. The living room features a cozy soapstone wood stove (firewood provided in the winter months), and a large wall mounted TV with live TV and lots of on-demand options - from Hulu Plus to HBO to Netflix, Amazon Prime and Disney+! A don't forget the large deck, with grill, table, umbrella, and even a couple of rocking chairs to chill and soak in the views, plus a gorgeous stone patio with a stone firepit to make memories by the fire and wonder at the multitude of stars or the fireflies that grace us in the early summer months! Plus, you will have access to all the amazing features of the Moose Lodge and Cabins. We have been busy cutting new trails, giving easy walking access to some stunning ecological areas of the property, from wetlands and ponds to riverfront walks. Enjoy a swim in our pristine river, go for a stroll along the shore, tube, fish, and in the winter, snowshoe right in your backyard! Or simply sit on the deck and see if you can spot our resident bald eagle. This is a true memory maker!

*The house is the newest of our 3 rental homes in the 32-acre site of the Moose Lodge and Cabins, along with the Moose Lodge and the Bear Cabin. Large groups can rent all 3 for a truly unique experience! Surrounded by the White Mountain National Forest and the Ammonoosuc River, the property is a heaven for birdwatchers and wildlife lovers, with frequent bear and moose sightings. It is a Certified Wildlife Habitat, and we are working with local experts and the Federal government to ensure the preservation of the unique biological diversity of this piece of land, which includes gorgeous wetlands, beaver ponds, vernal pools, various streams, balsam fir and red spruce forests, maple groves and of course, the river front with its several beaches for the enjoyment of our guests. Great for swimming, fishing, tubing, or simply relaxing on the beach while the kids play in the water!

-Check-in: Any time after 4PM; Check-out: 11 am. Unauthorized early arrivals or late checkouts subject to $100/hr fee.
- No Unauthorized Guests or Pets: Guest and pet count must match the number in your reservation. Please let us know if the number has changed. Unauthorized pets or guests subject to $300 fee and immediate termination of your stay with no refunds. Absolutely NO PARTIES without express authorization. Pet fee for pet friendly units ($100/pet per stay) is not included in Airbnb quotes.
-Quiet Hours: From 10 p.m. to 8 a.m., please keep noise to a minimum. During the day, please make sure noise levels are low enough not to bother others, and never leave a barking dog unattended! No fireworks on property. A $100 fee may be imposed for violations of these rules.
-No smoking inside the unit; $250 fee for violation.
-We are in Bear Country! No trash or food is to be left outside at any time; $100 fee for violations.
-Some of our homes are equipped with exterior cameras for security purposes.
-We have relaxed our cancellation policies. However, please note that there will be no exception to these policies, for no reason, no matter what the circumstances. Travel insurance is available on our website and from a variety of other sources; it is the traveler's responsibility to decide whether to protect their purchase or not. Due to contractual obligations with property owners, we will not be able to make any exceptions under any circumstances.
-Our homes are in rural locations in the North Country. We live in a beautiful environment surrounded by pristine natural habitats, and share this land with a variety of animals. We do our best to ensure a proper balance between pest control and health concerns and appreciate your patience if a critter may find its way in. Our team is always available to come take care of it. To help prevent issues, please refrain from leaving doors propped open and avoid leaving food in open space which could attract rodents and/or insects.

- Rates are based on standard occupancy of 2 guests per bedroom. Additional guests, if allowed in the specific property, incur a $25/per person nightly surcharge.
