Both rooms have sloping ceilings and Velux windows. Across the hall is the house bathroom which has the best views in the cottage! To the front is a private patio area with additional seating. Enjoy an early morning coffee or an al fresco evening meal. A stone built barbecue is ideally located to cook up a storm after a long day exploring.
Owl Cottage is surrounded by open countryside and it’s only a short walk into the pretty village of Flamborough. Here you’ll find a couple of friendly pubs, fish and chip shops, tea rooms and well stocked convenience stores. Take a drive to Flamborough Lighthouse and watch the seals rest at low tide. The Flamborough Heritage Coastline offers miles of walking/cycling opportunities as well as the stunning RSPB Bempton Cliffs. Danes Dyke Nature Reserve is also worth a visit. For two sandy beaches, working harbour and Victorian Promenade take a trip down the coast to Bridlington. Burton Agnes Hall, Sledmere House and gardens and Sewerby Hall and garden are close by. The historic city of York is just an hour away and there is a choice of golf courses.
