"Host was very accommodating however the property description doesn't match reality. Cooking was via a shared barbecue, washing up needed to be done in the bathroom vanity and the restaurant was closed. Most meals required a 20 minute drive to Nairne...or slightly further to Mt Barker. It would be OK for an overnight stay or weekend if you wanted to travel around the Adelaide Hills. Longer stays are very difficult."

"The pictures of the property showed things that were not included in the apartment…pool table, outdoor setting, washing machine, bbq (electric grill does not in our eyes constitute a bbq) There was also nothing on the listing suggesting that the property was run on rain water and our usage of this would be monitored, the fact that there is a bath but you are reluctant to use such facility due to the questioning of your water usage. "Very nice place to stay. The boat was very well equipped with everything we needed. All of us caught lots of carp that we had to kill first of course, then fed to a pelican which was fun. Fed the pair of black swans that came round each evening with cornflakes as internet said that was OK. to feed them that. Very quiet moored spot on the river. Highly recommend this boat for a holiday that is so relaxing. Host is lovely and supplies all the information you need for this wonderful getaway."

Good location for those looking to head to The Bend racetrack about 15 minutes down the road. Would decibel stay here again. Only slight issue was the lack of WiFi. "We loved our stay in the Garden Suite at Gasworks Cottages. The cottage was perfect for the two of us, with such gorgeous gardens surrounding us. Our host Heather was excellent and made our stay wonderful. We loved meeting Jake the dog too! I'd recommend this place to others."
