Room was clean, basic breakfast served, aircon was cold, hot water limited, plenty of coffee packets. But the biggest worry is that it is an old house with no fire alarms in room and there are a majority of electrical items. Does have parking at rear of house, but must be small car, I drove a single cab hilux in, tight driving out.

One stay close to green slope hospital

One night stay , clean room and self contained. Location close to both hospitals and off street parking. Only issue was bathroom door would not open when closed and was locked In bathroom (door needs adjusting ) staff friendly and room was very neat /tidy. Breakfast included choice of cereal / toast and orange juice . Thanks for the stay.

Comfortable enough stay - bit noisy with people talking in the hall. Bath mat would be good and curtain to block the light coming in the glass door all night would be wonderful. Greeting on arrival was lovely. Entryway and back yard could be tidied up to add appeal.

This B&B was a very clean and comfortable stay. We stayed for one night. The only thing that could use improvement is the "continental breakfast." The offerings are quite light in comparison to what a "continental breakfast" means in the U.S. There was also no butter to go with the vegemite; and you can't access the milk/juice/bread in the kitchen until 7AM. Make sure to bring your own hair conditioner, as only shampoo, soap, and body wash were provided.

Very pleasing to have solid comfortable Olde Worlde Suburban home Accommodation in a very convenient location on the Inner Southside in Brisbane. Very good presentation of Rooms and clearly updated & maintained well for Guests & Owners benefit protecting their asset they have. Comfortable bedding with use of a Fan with some Aircon as well. Light Breakfast was very satisfactory with Motel style appliances to deal with this. Having own personal Bathroom is very good in this case.

Pros and Cons

99 Kirkland Avenue is two different places according to just an overnight experience or whether you stay several days. You can read about the place when you get into the room, but that doesn’t help you on arrival. The landlord is a real madam so you better follow her rules. If you are just there for one night everything is fine. Breakfast is in your room and you can decide what to have breakfast. If you stay several days don’t expect to get your room cleaned at all. I stayed for a week and had to asked for clean towels three times including a nice written mail. No response until after the third time. You were required to have the dirty towels from 8 days in your bathroom. The breakfast you had to prepare yourself during the day, as nobody else cared. Sometimes you would have to look after remedies a couple of time as it was not available. The washing machine and dryer you are allowed to use between 8 am and 6 pm A good thing is you Can sit in the garden at a table and it is really convenient for public transportation to Brisbane. Several fast food restaurants close by. The bed is fine and the shower is good A good advice: One night is Okay Several nights find a different place
