It is a very nice hotel with a great pool, gym and restaurant/bar. And the free parking was a massive bonus. Unfortunately, bars and restaurants are quite a long walk away, and as it’s at the top of a hill, it’s always an uphill climb to return.

A good all-round option for Brisbane
Always a good place to stay. The rooms are just the right size and quite clean. The hotel is perfectly located in Brisbane being just a short walk away from the centre of the city, yet, in a slightly quieter area. Overall, the quality is still there but service has gone down over the years. The hotel is also showing signs of heavy use and wear and tear here and there (missing power point leaving an open hole in the room, for instance).
