Such a great spot to stay to enjoy everything Straddy has to offer... an easy stroll to Cylinder beach, walk to the pub, walk to the shops... would definitely recommend.

Stunning spot - I will definitely be back
This was the perfect place for a solo business retreat. It was secluded and private, providing everything I needed. Beautiful walks and the beach right on the doorstep, with a cosy, peaceful, comfortable, safe place to relax and work in between. Loved my time here and will come back again.

The apartment is right next to the beach and we spent 8 days swimming, walking , eating and drinking. Recent renovations were great. Only request would be for aircon as we were there during a particularly hot and humid spell of weather! Can't wait to get back!

Beautiful, comfortable apartment in the perfect location
We've stayed on Straddie many times, but this apartment has just become our favourite. Quiet, clean, comfortable ( beautiful renovations) and a few minutes walk to the beach, local shops and places to eat. We didn't use the car once. Lack of air- con would put us off staying here in the hotter months but at Easter, with all the windows open and good fans we were cool and felt safe with the security screens. We went to sleep each night to the sound of waves breaking on the beach. The selection of games and lots of books made this apartment feel like a very special home from home. We definitely plan to return!

Unwind, its calm and tranquil here
Dont be put off by the ground floor description this unit offers a fantastic ocean view, only interrupted by palm trees. The unit is light, airy and lovely and gets cooling sea breezes, with ocean sounds to lull you to sleep. Surf sounds are so restful. The kitchen is well appointed, and there is a washing machine and dryer too. There were a selection of board games provided and plenty of books too. We made use of the bocce (supplied) to play a lazy game in the late afternoon, even though it was raining gently. The lawn area between the unit and the beach was ideal for this. You park the car and relax. Everything you need is a short walk away, beach, supermarket and other shops. A weekend was not long enough.Id stay there again for sure.

I unloaded my bags from the driveway off the cylinder beach car park and then parked in undercover car park behind the apartment. I didn’t really need the car after that. There are lots of stairs up to the road and uneven ground to the lower car park, so only really suitable for those who can walk easily. Beach walks are gorgeous. You won’t be alone...I had big bob the elderly kangaroo sleep on the front lawn a few nights and a stone curlew walked into the lounge room one night. He stood for ages mesmerised by the tv. The upstairs neighbours use the same path to the beach and will walk past the bedroom window so keep the net curtains closed. :)The shade sail in the bedroom cupboard is easy to put up and essential against the western sun. The updated kitchen and bathroom were a pleasant surprise. Loved the big bath tub.The ghost ants were a bit annoying but to be expected when you are on the ground level. They are particularly fond of honey. Being able to see and hear the sea was so relaxing, and quick to get to the beach. Overall it was a lovely little holiday getaway, close to everything.

It was quiet, private and so relaxing. We were thrilled with kangaroos and stone curlews on our doorstep (beware the roo poo!). The kitchen and bathroom are nicely renovated. It does need a deep clean - there was a lot of dust and rubbish under the bed and couch, the bins hadn’t been emptied, and there were tiny ants everywhere that got into our food - I appreciate the property manager saying they’ll organise a pest control. The couch is old. The bed is very firm but comfortable. We appreciated the many games, books, Netflix and outdoor couch. Overall we absolutely loved it and hope to return!

Position is right at the end of the Cylinder Beach carpark so you walk right out through the carpark and you are on the beach. Close to Point Lookout shops as well. The only thing is the garage for the car is under the units up behind this block so it isn't easily accessible but no drama to work up the stairs to get to it when you need it to get around the island. You can unload your gear by parking in the beach carpark and you could potentially leave your car there if you didn't mind it out the whole time. We loved it and will be back due to location alone. The unit had everything we needed and was tidy and clean. Comfy bed and easy to chill out.

Hard to find entrance
Great place just hard to find on arrival no clear instructions of how to find the apartment spent a while looking how to get in and no information about that after a asked the owner the day before and your better parking at the beach car park then in the underground car park. Over all good stay no dramas just might need some more information for arrival.

Excellent location and views
Couldn’t get any closer to the beach . Sunsets were great. Nice open views from the large glass sliding doors which open out onto nice grasses area.well stocked kitchen utensils and appliances. Quiet and peaceful.
