Enjoy a stylish experience at this centrally-located, maisonette in the heart of Broadstairs and mins to the beac.h, making it perfect for family and friend getaways or a couples retreat. The accommodation offers 2 large bedrooms and 1 small single room sleeping 5 guests in total. There is one ensuite, an additonal bathroom with large shower and f ully equipped open planned living space with kitchen,.  The accommodation really has everything needed for a great stay in Broadstairs.

Broadstairs: Coastal Charm and Timeless Elegance

Nestled along the captivating coastline of the Isle of Thanet, Broadstairs is a seaside gem that effortlessly blends historical charm with modern allure. Famous for its golden sandy beaches, quaint winding streets, and vibrant local culture, this picturesque town has been a beloved retreat for centuries.

The Old Chemist is in the heart of Broadstairs so you are just minutes away from the town, the promenade and Viking Bay.

Broadstairs train station is just a 0.4 mile walk (10 minute walk), so really ideal if you want to leave your car at home. The high speed train stops at the station and the journey from London is only 1 hour 20 minutes.

The apartment is also the ideal base for exploring the other local seaside towns of Ramsgate and Margate; both are approx a 10 minute drive or can be reached by the regular bus service or train.

Further afield, Canterbury, Whitstable, Deal and Sandwich are all approx 20 - 30 minutes drive.

Entire place

Enter in to the entrance hallway, a large space great for storing a buggy or pram. Up a flight of stairs to the first floor where you will find:-

The Living room
The entire property has been recently renovated and completely refurbished with great modern style and comfort in mind. As you walk into the apartment you will find a spacious living room with stylish furnishings and pops of bright colours. There is comfortable seating and a smart TV. The TV has streaming services, but these are unpaid so will require logging in. There is also a desk for those guests who need to continue working during there stay.

Kitchen
Through from the living room, is the chic kitchen with a washing machine, integrated oven and induction hob. This fully equipped kitchen provides everything you need to cook up a storm, plus there is a Nespresso coffee machine and large fridge-freezer. There is also a dining area with seating for up to 5 guests.

The recently refitted, fully tiled bathroom has a good-sized overhead/hand shower with built in seat, a modern toilet and basin.

Up the stairs to the second floor you will find all 3 bedrooms;-

Bedrooms
The light and airy master bedroom has a king bed and an open plan ensuite bathroom. The ensuite includes a free-standing bathtub – perfect for an evening soak – plus a toilet and sink. There is plenty of hanging and storage space with a hanger rail and chest of drawers. Plus a ceiling fan, great to cool you down during a summer getaway..

The second bedroom has a cosy double bed and plenty of storage space. Plus a celing fan.

The third and smallest bedroom is ideal for a child, but would also sleep a small adult.

The mainsonette also has free Wi-Fi, ironing equipment, airer, cot, highchair and a hairdryer.

Travelling by road: The M20 and M2 motorways provide easy links from London into Thanet.

Broadstairs train station is approx 15 minutes by foot and is regularly served by Southeastern High Speed services travelling to/from London St Pancras as well trains from London Victoria. The train from London St Pancras takes 90 minutes and a little longer from Victoria, and it’s just 50 minutes from Ashford International station

National Express runs a national network of coach services. Coaches run from London Victoria to various stops in Thanet and take approximately 2 hours.

Frequent bus services: the Thanet Loop serves Margate, Cliftonville, Broadstairs, Ramsgate and Westwood Cross.


Please ALWAYS turn light on in shower room when showering. This pull cord also activates fan/dehumidifier.

There are is a flight of stairs from the large entrance hallway (also perfect for storing buggies and prams).

Mini break in Broadstairs
Very well located property for a trip to Broadstairs and Margate. A walk to the sea front is just a couple of minutes. Extremely responsive and supportive owner/agent. Property was very clean. Two flights of stairs so not for those with mobility problems. You cannot park beyond one hour on the street but plenty of available (paid and free) parking options nearby. We really enjoyed our stay and it was great to be in walking distance of everything in Broadstairs.
