"We spent 3 days in the "cowshed" room at Le Bois Gautier. The accommodation was very spacious with a full kitchen and a large bedroom and bathroom upstairs. We received a warm welcome from the new owner Bill who had prepared a log fire for our arrival, this made the accommodation very cosy and was a great touch. Bill had also brought some snacks/breakfast for us. The place was gorgeous, and very quiet, being in the middle of the countryside. It is located about 30 min drive from the scenic town...

"This is a nice family owned property. We picked it because it was a 15 minute drive away from Mont San Michele. Parking was on site, secure and easy. The rooms and common areas of this property are dated but clean and well-maintained. The bathrooms appear remodeled and while they are small, they are extremely functional. "We stayed at the little house and it was splendid. Very spacious, it smelled great. Beds are truly comfortable. This place has everything a family of four could need and more. Their grounds are beautifully trimmed and kept, maintained and designed. Breakfast buffet was beyond delicious, their bread and crepes were very good. It was all very clean, calm, and quiet. I need to go back and stay many nights there. I will recommend for sure! All the staff here, every single person that works here...

"My only regret is that we didn't plan a longer stay! This Chateau and the grounds are stunning. The resident manager, Pascale, was delightful, helpful and it was so pleasant to chat with her during our stay. She recommended a lovely restaurant in a nearby town and arranged reservations for us on a busy Friday night. Made to order breakfast, extensive honor bar with drinks and snacks, beautiful suite and common areas and very reasonable pricing; you can't go wrong with Chateau La Remetiere!"
