About this property

Entire place

You'll have the entire cabin to yourself and will only share it with other guests in your party.

Come stay off-grid in the wilds of Michigan’s Upper Peninsula.

When you stay at Jordon Off-Grid Cabin—The J.O.C.—you are up close and personal with natural beauty and wildlife. The log cabin and surrounding land are in the prime location for hunting, fishing, snowmobiling, ATVing, snowshoeing, hiking, fishing, bird watching, and more!

Bobcat Cabin is so named because of the beautiful feline caught on our trail cam shortly after installation. The log cabin is a 396 square foot vacation rental that can fit up to 4 adults. There is a queen bed in the downstairs, a full-sized bed in the loft (recommend only one person sleep in the loft, as the ceiling is low), and a convertible chaise-bed that can sleep one person. (We also have a pack-n-play available by request.)

The cabin sits on 36 acres of privately owned land that is surrounded on three sides by the Ottawa National Forest. It is fully off-grid, and has indoor heating and electricity powered by a whole house solar system and liquid propane gas. It also has a deep water well, indoor plumbing, and a complete septic system to provide all the modern comforts you appreciate while still being in a secluded natural environment.

Note: The cabin is accessible up a short, steep gravel driveway off the highway. You can still hear traffic noise from the cabin, although you cannot see the cars and trucks driving by.
