The place is as described- very clean and comfortable. Be sure to communicate ahead of time with the kind host about check-in time. The butcher next door has great take-away food that makes meals very easy.

A Home Away From Home

We had a fantastic stay in the heart of Brussels. The owners are incredibly welcoming and made us feel right at home. Our apartment was spacious, with a huge bathroom, and the common dining area was perfect for catching up with friends. The location is ideal for exploring the city, and while street parking is available, be aware that it’s paid during the night. Thank you very much, Johan and Ria!

A very comfortable and pleasant stay.

Johan is a friendly well organised host. HIs apartment is very well appointed features lots of natural Iight while at same time is private. If I plan on returning to Brussels, the first thing I wlll do is check if this apartment is available.

Nice modern apartment for visiting the city

The apartment and kitchen were both clean and inviting. Johan offered some posters about the location and a map as well as helpful directions. A fantastic position for visiting the city. The tram ride into town was swift and easy ( line 82). They also had modern TV, with many programs. Nice pizzeria nearby, along with small supermarket (open on sundays) and a butchery.

Extremely friendly reception by the owners (even if I was late, after 22.00!!). A fun "jumping back into the 70ies" feeling. BIG premises, fast internet and all at completely unbeatable price. PArk in front and leave your car there, tram is literally around the corner. J and R own a butchery in front of the street, go and get your meat and sandwiches there!! (the Martino is heavenly!). Highly recommendably when coming with friends or family (theoretically, my apartment could sleep 4 in heavenly beds!)

Place was fine. We didn’t see laundry which was listed as an amenity but also we didn’t ask about it so maybe it was just not in the unit! Easy to the tram and city center. Not that stoked over the mystery stain that was on the mattress topper… we pulled the comforter down and the topper flipped up a bit at the same time and we saw it. At least it was not enough mystery fluid to be a fatality. Would stay again sans topper issue!

Johan was really friendly and helpful getting us checked in and providing us with information, maps and leaflets. Gave use some real practical advise. Thankyou! Apartment was well-presented and quirky. Kitchen was clean and well-equipped (although I would have liked a mug for my morning cuppa tea!). Beds were clean and comfortable. Bathroom was spacious and clean. Great location for exploring the city. Tram stops outside the apartment and takes 30 minutes (tram then metro) to get to Grande Place. Parking arranged by Johan for €15 per day, otherwise street parking would have been expensive. Nice pizzeria nearby, along with supermarket, bakery and night shop. Would definitely return.

The staff were friendly and explained what I needed to know. The instructions for check-in were confusing however, because I thought I had to call before arriving. Turns out that I just needed to go specified address and contact Johan to go through the check-in process. The shower was a little lukewarm, but wasn't too much of a problem after turning up the room and bathroom radiators. Also be ready to pay 10EUR per night tax (Belgium thing), as well as a 100EUR deposit (which will be returned during check-out and inspection). Nearest transport is the 82 Tram line (stop is Van Zande), and to get to Brussels centre you can stop at west station or Brussels Midi (south) and change to the metro lines. You can find the pdf map files on the STIB-MIVB website (if you used the London underground maps before, shouldn't be too difficult). Also, you can the MoBIB card (like the London Oyster card) from the ticket machines themselves which is something that took me a few days to figure out (5EUR fee for new card). Thanks to J and R!

Le sejour dans son ensemble a ete convenablela proprete est a revoir : capsule au sol, sous le lit et sous le canape aknsi que les meubles poussieres a foison ++++ cela na pas ete fait depuis bien longtemps Sous le canape il y a un beauty blender : jignore de quand il date et si un jour il sera retire. Attention au materiel dangereux : un des tabouret a un default ce qui a ecorché le petit au niveau du bras Payé le tarif dun adulte pour un enfant de 6 mois et un an je trouve cela assez decevant. Il faut preciser egalement que l'appartement est dans un immeuble qui contient une boucherie, et par conséquent les escaliers sentent la boucherie ++++ Sinon le restant etait convenable. Attention aussi a ladresse cest indique le 4 alors que cest a cote, le monsieur vivant au 4 avait lair saoulé

De accomodatie is van alle gemakken voorzien en de eigenaar is ontzettend vriendelijk. Openbaar vervoer naar het centrum van Brussel is vlakbij. Het appartement ligt langs een vrij drukke weg, dus met het raam open wel wat geluidsoverlast, maar met de ramen dicht gaat het prima.

Al llegar al alojamiento tuvimos un problema querian cobrarnos 80€ mas de estadia el cual no figuraba en ningun sitio de donde alquilamos solo debiamos pagar 6€ de tasas e impuestos q se pagaba en el lugar no 80€ Perdimos practicamente el dia debido a un herror de ellls al no actializar sus normas con esta pag, de igualmanera debimos pagar 40€ como negozacion lo cual noe gusto porq era un error de ellos no nuestro. El apartamento esta bien pero no era lo que habiamos alquilado. Mal momento y dia perdido. La agencia respondio en todo momento
