Discover the beauty of the Blue Ridge Mountains in this 3500 sq. ft. log cabin nestled on 50 acres . Private and secluded, yet accessible , and inviting you to explore the areas many attractions. Located just 20 minutes North of Roanoke, Virginia, and 25 minutes South of Historic Lexington, Virginia. Beautiful Log Cabin with panoramic mountain views. Offering 4 large bedrooms, 3 full bathrooms, Great room with gas fireplace, large family room. Enjoy an adult beverage at the custom made Bar made from reclaimed barnwood, called "The Rusty Roof Saloon." Private creek runs throughout the property, great for fishing , tube floating or just relaxing ! (Hours are from 10-4 daily) Also a Bonfire Pit for your enjoyment! You will be able to hike local trails, Peaks of Otter/Apple Orchard Falls to name a few, or the Appalachian Trail itself. If kayaking, canoeing, or tubing is something you like, we are 3 miles to Twin River Outfitters! Shuttle is available! Many local wineries, microbreweries, and restaurants within a-25 mile radius. Take a stroll in the quaint town of Buchanan and enjoy Mom and Pop restaurants, antique shops and more!! 12 miles from Peaks of Otter. Horseback riding within 20 miles. Hilltop Retreat
Spent a weekend here for a birthday getaway and had an excellent time! The hot tub + mountain view was definitely a highlight and very relaxing. The tiki bar and pool table were also hits with my group. We cooked all our meals here, making use of the kitchen and grill with no issues. We met Cindy's 2 golden retrievers. They were very friendly and equally fluffy! The only hiccup in our trip was that Google Maps doesn't route you to the actual driveway so you'll need to keep an eye out for the gravel entrance when you get close.

Coopers Cabin Rocks
Coopers Cabin was perfect size for our family to gather for an early Christmas. We came from Ohio, WV, VA and SC so the location was perfect. The bedrooms were good size and the beds comfortable. The back deck was probably our favorite place to hang out. Grill handy on back porch which we did use. The cabin is located just a few miles from Buchanan and less than 10 miles to Blue Ridge for hiking. Overall, the cabin was clean, safe, very quiet, peaceful and relaxing. We would definitely recommend Coopers Cabin and we all hope to come back again.

Awesome Family Get Together
I rented Cooper's Cabin for myself, my 2 brothers, my nephew, his wife, 2 sons and his golden retriever. The cabin was absolutely gorgeous. The cabin is very spacious without alot of room for the kids to play. The hot tub was the hit for 2 of the 3 days we stayed there. Cindy is an amazing host that is readily available any time you need help. The 2 goldens at the house off the driveway greeted us every time we drove by, awesome puppies. We will definitely stay there again when we come back to Roanoke.

Very relaxing
Loved the cabin. It sits on a hill with nothing to see but nature in all directions. Deer in the yard every morning and evening. If you are wanting to just get away from it all you could just chill on the deck or in the hot tub the entire time. We liked exploring the nearby creek and playing pool by the bar downstairs. Plenty of room for our fur babies to run and play. There were a lot of carpenter bees at the cabin. They don’t sting but the dogs wanted to eat them. Cindy was a great host and quickly responded to any issues or questions we had.

My husband, myself, and our 17 year old twin daughters stayed for a week at this beautiful cabin. We had an amazing time and truly enjoyed the peace abd serenity of the mountains! Cindy was very easy to keep in contact with and even brought her Goldens over on our last day to meet us!

Family vacation
Perfect "cabin" and property for our 8 family members and two dogs for a week-long vacation. Cooper's Cabin was impeccably clean and comfortable with amenities the three generation-family enjoyed: cookout at wood burning fire pit, sunsets by propane fire pit, hot tub, pool tournament, wonderful expansive private grounds for dogs and kids to play. This property is well situated for exploring nearby sites and hiking. Lots of wonderful family memories were made at Cooper's Cabin.

Group getaway weekend
Cooper's cabin did not disappoint. Beautiful Cabin, well decorated and clean. Perfect for six of us to hangout especially downstairs at the bar playing pool. Quiet and peaceful. Nothing but star's, fireflies and the surrounding mountains. Cindy was the perfect host. Great communication with her throughout the whole process. Probably even more beautiful in the fall. Will definitely stay again.

Amazing stay. Relaxing location
The cabin is beautiful and sits by itself on top of a hill. The views from the cabin are amazing. You're also just a very short drive from some local restaurants and stores. The attractions at Natural Bridge are about 20 minutes away so a very easy commute. Buchanan VA is a beautiful little town and very peaceful. My family and I loved our stay and will visit again someday. Cindy made everything very easy with the check-in, check-out process and was a wonderful host.

We had the most memorable stay! The house was very spacious, beautiful inside & out, and clean. We had everything we needed. Cindy was quick to respond & very sweet. We enjoyed all the amenities. We were there to celebrate our son’s college graduation from VMI, he is now a 2nd Lieutenant in the Marine Corps and couldn’t be more proud! We would definitely stay again!

We had a fantastic stay in Cooper's Cabin; the mountain and valley views were breathtaking from this well-maintained cabin nestled on the top of a manicured rolling hill. The cabin itself did not disappoint: extremely clean and well appointed multi-level rooms and family areas. The balcony is the perfect place to take in the mountain views during the day and unrestricted starry nights (i.e., no light bleed over to obscure the heavens).

The location was quiet and peaceful, but within short distance to Breweries and the Virginia Safari Park! We had an amazing stay at Coopers Cabin! The cabin and setting were absolutely beautiful! We got to visit with the host and her four legged babies.
