"From the moment we stepped off the taxi to check in, our experience of The Shilla Seoul was nothing short of impeccable. I've stayed at many top hotels in Seoul and Tokyo. The Shilla Seoul is up to the level of Ritz Tokyo or Okura Tokyo, which I consider the best of the best. Every member of the staff is kind and respectful, and willing to go out of their way to make sure you are taken care of. Rooms are classy and clean. Some may say this hotel is old. But it aged like a legend. This is the BEST hotel in Korea IMHO. "

Important to note that at the ICN airport, terminals 1 and 2 are very very far apart and the hotel is quite far from terminal 1 and it was difficult getting transportation to the hotel. The staff was very helpful and provided me a very reasonable hourly rate for late checkout."
