"The staff were very friendly, helpful and good at there jobs. Food was excellent, room clean, but needed better locks on doors, and TV that worked. Bathrooms clean plenty of water, some sort of breakfast would be a good idea, had to drive about 12 klm to get decent coffee and something to eat Would stay there again, great place"

"Astoundingly good accomodations near Newcastle. A teensy bit out of the way, in a very quiet suburb. But, wow. Wow! The unit we stayed in was much nicer than most people's homes, with everything one could want. The hosts were genuinely nice folk as well. A great stop if one needs a place in the area."

"Super friendly owners and staff, very informative. Check in and out was very easy and quick. Ordered dinner from their restaurant and they were happy to bring it to the room which is great service in a motor inn. Room was really clean, everything worked and in good condition no complaints at all."

"Our stay as two families with teens at “Chilling Lakeside” was truly relaxing (mid Dec 2024). The booking process was easy, and communication with the gracious hosts was excellent. The house was well-equipped including entertainment for the adults / teens, good books and amazing views with stunning sunsets enjoyed by the jetty and around the firepit. Pelicans coasting along the water and friendly little ducklings were a joy. The nearby Coastal and Co takeaways had the best burgers and our trip to Caves beach (35min) was lovely. It was a memorable and relaxing stay."

"We booked this accommodation very least minute, which turns out it was even after the reception has closed for the night. We arrived very late and as reception was closed for the night had not been left any key or self check in keys. The night caretaker was extremely helpful in finding out booking and coming out in the rain to give us the keys and check us in. The room was clean and spacious and the resort looked great had it not been for the bad weather we would have enjoyed spending time by the pool and surrounds. Will definitely come back in better weather and enjoy everything properly. "
