Buda retreat
This was a nice little house in a secluded area located on beautiful property. We enjoyed being able to walk around the property and take in the scenery and even had a great guide on our walk, Maggie a beautiful and very friendly dog!

The Casita has been our choice for spending time in Buda to visit family. It is peaceful and provides us with all the amenities to relax and fully enjoy our time there. Morgan, the onsite property manager, is a pleasure to see and chat with whenever we stay here. His dog, Maggie, is a sweet greeter!

What a great place to relax. It was perfect for us. The property was beautiful and we enjoyed walking the trails. The sweet dog, Maggie, stopping over to say hello was an added bonus to our trip. She even joined us for a walk one morning!

Perfect for a weekend stay
The only negative is that we didn’t get to explore the property like we wanted. We were welcomed by the 3 peacocks that live on the property and the most beautiful sight of green grass, trees and flowers. We'll definitely be back.

I search a lot of VRBO listings. This one really resonated - a pet friendly, wonderful cottage on beautiful acreage at a reasonable price. The “Casita” is just as nice as the photos, maybe better. A bonus to our visit was meeting Maggie and Morgan.

The Casita was everything the description described and more. The property was beautiful! Very peaceful and quiet. Our daily walks with our dog were stunning. We finally got to see the horses on our final day. Morgan the property manager was onsite if we needed anything and Maggie, his dog was very sweet. Would definitely stay again.

Serene Staycation
My husband and I and our dog wanted to do a weekend getaway. It was only 2 hours from home, however, it was majestic! The property was immaculate. Lush green manicured lawns with amazing trees everywhere. The minute we pulled into the driveway, we knew we had made a great choice. Check in and check out was seamless. Beautiful and Quiet Stay
My husband and I stayed here due to attending a funeral in San Marcos. We did not want to stay in Austin or San Marcos due to the loud city life that surrounds those areas. Buda is a nice small town with an HEB and main street restaurants and shops not far from the property. The property itself was quiet with beautiful surroundings. Hosts were very responsive and accomodating while waking trail was a perfect distance for a brisk walk or leisurely walk. We will definitely visit this property again for a longer stay next time.

This is just a sweet Casita. Location was near everything we needed. Enjoyed the property lots of walking trails which was a great for our dog. Had a very nice time. Buda was a surprise as we didn't expect it to be so quaint.

Peaceful Country Getaway

Lovely casita
We enjoyed our four night stay at this peaceful, well maintained casita. Communication for checking in and out was great with Morgan, the onsite property manager. Everything you need for a relaxing getaway including walking trails outside your door and beautifully landscaped outdoor sitting area. Well equipped kitchen, good WiFi connection, and a comfortable bed. We'll definitely come back!

Country ranch atmosphere
Country setting. Very quiet & private. Plenty of walking trails on the property. Visited the horses. Watched the eclipse from the quietness of the nearby field. The weather didn't want to cooperate, but got a ten second flash of totality. Visited the hill country, LBJ's museum & a brew pub in Johnson city and Hilmy winery. Quiet place for reading & reflection.

Instructions for locking the front door were incomplete. You have to "long press" on the blue check mark until you hear the deadbolt. No clocks anywhere, need a night light to get to the bathroom in the middle of the night. Maggie, the house dog was friendly and greeted us every morning! Beautiful property, but can you do something about the 100° heat every day?!! We'd stay there again without question.

Home away from home!
My husband and I were visiting family and friends in Buda/Austin area for a week. The Casita was perfect for us as it was in a great neighborhood near some relatives. The Casita is gorgeous, well equipped and the grounds are beautiful. While we didn't use the pool and tennis court, they are available as well as walking paths. Morgan, the caretaker, was onsite and his beautiful dog, Maggie, was sweet and friendly and we enjoyed visiting with Morgan and Maggie. We'll definitely return to the Casita for our next visit back home.

Overall the property itself was fabulous!! . the cleanliness of the property, all the recreational amenities, the natural beauty of the outdoor, etc The only downside this is from a woman’s perspective because they notice everything was it appears that maybe one of the ranchhands was probably responsible for fixing up the inside of the property the house because it appeared to typical to what most men with clean like . the glass table wasn’t very clean, The bed looks like a man made it up, it looked as if the cover was just throwing on the bed. There was nothing really appealing about it!! It was just not a good look . That will catch the eye of a woman right off the bat, blankets and sheets in the drawers, weren’t really folded, just kind of placed inside the drawers, anyway it wasn’t a dealbreaker but if you have a very meticulous companion, it’s the small things that will catch the eyes, I would say that this property is so immaculate that it will probably benefit you to take the time to have someone probably a female come in, and really make sure the cabin is spruced up and smelling nice, especially the bedroom!!!
