Loved the Barcelo, a peaceful sanctuary perfectly situated between daytime sightseeing and late night ruin bars. Safe area. Spotless housekeeping. Very well-trained, friendly and accommodating staff! Nice, modern hotel

Hotel was really nice. Staff really welcoming and polite, rooms cleaned really well every day. Hotel is also in a really central location and close to lively restaurants and bars. Hotel also has an app where you can stock the mini fridge, ask for any extra toiletries, or contact the reception on. Only slight downside as we had to wait until exactly 3pm to check in. Have had other hotels which have allowed us to check in early. However, there is a luggage storage space so we were able to leave our things there.

Ideal city hotel with excellent staff.

Barcelo are swiftly becoming my new favourite chain. The Barcelo Budapest was excellent. Brilliant location, outstanding staff, very clean and comfortable. My only challenge was the drum and bass until very late that came from somewhere nearby, but that’s what you get for staying in a trendy neighbourhood!
