I added Budapest as one of the three cities to visit in central Europe following my 16-night transatlantic cruise from Tampa, Florida to Civitavecchia, Italy. I am glad my family and I did so by choosing "City Hotel Budapest" for our 2-day stay at this city, which is also known as "NEXTO DORMERO Hotel Budapest". The hotel is within walking distance for everything including the beautiful Danube River bank area in the city. Most importantly, the hotel is staffed 24/7 - we arrived at the hotel at midnight, and someone was there to check us in. Long live "City Hotel Budapest"!

Central hotel undergoing renovation which are almost complete. My room newly refurbished. Comfortable bed, good bathroom. All hard surfaces so very clean. No tea making facilities yet. Great staff.
