Could have been difficult to find though they had sent a good description. My taxi driver knew it so I had no problem. As its name suggests the hotel is a conversion from residences/apartments. That means no bar or restaurant and a very limited reception space. More than made up for by a most helpful, delightful lady receptionist. Your breakfast is delivered to your door in a basket. Loved the high ceilings and superbly designed staircase indicating the property must once have belonged to a wealthy family. Room and bathroom completely modernised in simple attractive Hungarian style. Excellent tv, easy to operate. Comfortable bed warm bedding, very good shower with hot water. Kitchen area well stocked for those wishing to economise by self catering. Was unable to operate coffee machine, not sure if it was working. Plenty of other drinks available. On returning to Budapest Karoly Residences would be my first choice.

We had an amazing week at this hotel. Everything was great. Very conveniently situated. It is right in the middle of the Jewish neighborhood. Seconds away from the Dohany St. synagogue. Staff was very helpful and friendly. Carpets could be a bit cleaner and I recommend installing a powerful fan in the washroom (toilet). I am highly recommending this place to everyone.

The staff was AMAZING, Flora (I hope I spelled there name correctly, if not my apologies) and Chubby are great, friendly and helpful. The room was great with a patio. But the room was not that clean and the rug in the bedroom needed to be cleaned or replaced. But overall I still would recomand this place. Hopefully the building will see this review.

Karoly corner apartments are nestled right in the centre of the action. Close to attractions and easily walkable. The apartment is very spacious with under floor heating, a separate shower and large bath as well. We booked the livery apartment and it was very affordable. Safe and secure. Staff very friendly and efficient. I am happy to recommend this property for anyone considering a visit to this most magnificent city.

This property was charming! The deluxe apartment was very roomy and well-appointed. The balcony off the master bedroom was great as we could enjoy the views while sipping our wine. The staff, in particular, Flora, went above and beyond to ensure that we had what we needed. The airport transfer from Karoly Corner Residences was prompt and expedient, thus reducing any stress associated with an extremely early departure. Thank you to all staff!

The hotel was wonderful. The apartments were very nice and spacious. It was central and close to everything. The staff were friendly and helpful. We had an issue with the shower in our room and following an attempt to repair it we were moved to another room so this was dealt with very well but was a bit of an inconvenience. Overall would highly recommend.

Very central location, all staff very pleasant, courteous and friendly. Arranged an airport transfer and driver was also superb and very helpful. Room was outstanding as well as the view. Very quiet and breakfast served in a basket outside your door was a beautiful touch. Would highly recommend this top class hotel with excellent staff throughout. Thanks for taking care of us!

The entrance is kind of run down, but the suite (2bdr) was perfect! Just a problem that they had turned off the AC and the suite was warm at night, they gave us some fans but they were too noisy. Other than that a very good stay!

The property was very nice. When you first pull up to the hotel it does not look bad the same due to the rudder engaged that it is behind it. But once you cross through the gates it is a very good surprise. The staff was very helpful. The location is excellent close enough to the downtown area to walk. Many restaurants around. Can walk to the Buda side. And to the great market.

Great location
Great location near a metro and hop on hop off bus stop. About 15 minutes walk to St Stephens Basilica. Plenty of restaurants, cafes, take out options and supermarkets in less than 5 minutes walk. Apartment was spacious , clean and excellent facilities. Reception and staff very helpful and friendly. Highly recommended.
