"We enjoyed our stay. Managing the heat was a challenge initially, but we were able to adjust once we realized the thermostat temperature settings were incorrect. Not having an elevator to the third floor would have been fine if my wife wasn't wearing a boot, so we minimized our trips in and out. All and all, we would stay there again. "

"There were some minor property issues, but they were not even close to a deal breaker. The House was clean and bright and had everything we needed. My family had a wonderful time. I enjoyed being back in the Heart of the Rockies and in the heart of downtown. I was a geology student in Salida in the mid-90s, and it was great to see that this town is still strong. I loved seeing some of the same places I frequented are still around."

"Our family of four stayed here in early January for a ski trip to Monarch. The small house is as advertised, and worked well for us. It is clean, thoughtfully outfitted, and comfortable. Parking is easy, and it was nice to be able to walk to the downtown businesses and to a small park and playground by the river. The owner was friendly and helpful. "

"This property was just as advertised. A modern spacious condo that was clean and well stocked. The beds were very comfortable and the views from the bedrooms were very nice with lots of great windows. We enjoyed the location, within easy walking of downtown and the Monarch walking trail. We really enjoyed the game room with table tennis and fooseball. Highly recommend!"

"We had the best time here. Skied in Breckenridge day one and monarch on day two. Day three was the train ride in leadville. Skiing was great and the train ride was so fun. The loft was perfect. Right in downtown and we could walk to great restaurants in town. All the cute shops are great and everyone is so friendly. Our last night was new years eve and the city had a block party and it was rocking! What a great place to spend with someone you love. Happy new year!"

The home is bigger than it appears in pictures, and very comfortable. Our group of 9 fit perfectly. It's also perfectly located an easy 10 minute drive from town and restaurants.
