Cell service isn’t great at the cabin, which is actually quite lovely to have an opportunity to disconnect! Don’t miss the sunrises over the lake and the star gazing at night. "The property is very private, and basically surrounded by hayfields and pasture. The house was well stocked with anything that you might need while you are there. There’s a couple of big porches with a beautiful view! Pet friendly, so I was able to bring my dogs. They loved exploring the property, & plenty of room to run. "

"Our stay was simply magical! It was so fun roaming the grounds to visit the animals. We enjoyed making friends with characters such as Bonnie (goat), small Marshmallow (goat), Flashy (pony), Girl (deer) and the Judd sisters (donkeys). We also had had a blast on our trail ride with Ethan. He was so knowledgeable and fun through our whole stay he really made us feel at home. We'll definitely be back!"

"Our family and friends have been planning our stay for the eclipse viewing for over a year. We stayed at the wonderful Cabin on the Creek about 45 minutes from Waco, where we planned to view. It was a perfect relaxation spot that was just a short drive away from our eclipse viewing spot. Very private, very clean, everything provided for family meals. We highly recommend it."
