Cozy Bach in the Marlborough Sounds, Great Fishing Location

Our Bach is situated in Bulwer, outer Pelorus Sounds. Close to the beach, 30 seconds from the wharf and beach boat lunching. There is a mooring available with your booking.
Comfortable cozy Bach sleeps up to five with three singles in the bedroom and a queen bed in the corner of the main bach. Kitchen has fridge, oven, microwave, jug toaster etc. Tea, Coffee and sugar are provided but you will need to bring your own milk.
Lounge area has tv with Freeview and a few dvds. The deck is a great setting for a summer bbq with table, chairs and hooded bbq (gas provided).

Fabulous location
The long drive was well worth it! We lucked in with the weather and had some great fishing, paddling, and snorkeling across the reach. The village has a great old-school bachy vibe with wandering sheep, a huge friendly sow and resident stingrays for entertainment. Our cottage was very clean with everything we needed and a good heater for the cool mornings. You get a great view of the water from being slightly elevated but still just a half minute walk to the beach. Over-all a fabulous place to stay!

It was a great stay. The road is long to get here with roadworks as well but its worth it. The location is second to none and has everything you need for a fishing trip.

Detox from life's stresses!!
Our family of 5 stayed here for 5 nights and overall rated it a solid 9 out of 10 ... 1 point deduction for our own poor selection of ski biscuit and a lack of sinkers! The bach was perfect, clean and comfortable! The bay was absolutely sensational, a real privilege that we got to thoroughly enjoy! It made the long drive totally worth it. We got to paddle board with sting rays, eagle rays, carpet sharks and octopus!! Blue cod practically leapt onto our hooks and the sea was calm enough for dinghy, jetski and paddle board fun each day!

Very clean inside and outside. Met Nik, he is very friendly. We (husband, wife and a daughter) enjoyed the stay very much. A friendly pet pig, sheep and two huge stingrays on the wharf - All lovely experience. We will come back again!! Thank you!!

Beautiful Bulwer
Time slowed down watching the beautiful views from the deck, while sitting on the deck or relaxing in the comfi adjustable chair. Our toddler loved watching the stingrays, playing with the stones and all the crawling creatures, doing a small adventurous walk alongside the bay. We were surprised with some fresh caught fish by a friendly local. House was really convenient for us. Would love to go again:-)

A great old bach
It was back to the good old days of summer holidays. Perfect location great weather and excellent fishing a great friendly community. The road there is a bit of a challenge with the 6.2m boat on the back but doable. For choice I would be planning to eat a nice pork roast in the near future. We will be back.

Strip the non essentials out of life & you connect more with those around you & your surroundings. If you value privacy, clean clear water a bush backdrop & don't mind a lengthy drive on winding metal roads Bulwer will reward you brilliantly in fine weather & soulfully in foul. Disconnect and re-connect
We loved being able to get away from devices and enjoy strolls, swims (bracing), simple meals, reading and playing cards with our teenage children. Our puppy got very excited by visits from Dotti the pig and the friendly sheep. The bach was clean, beds comfortable and very compact, as promised. Thank you Hailey and Nick.

Awesome!!!
For us as a family, we had the perfect little get away. Limited to none cellular coverage, peaceful environment, not a lot of people around. Awesome! Birds singing in the morning and evening, fishing from the Jetty, the batch was small enough to be cosy but not to small. I will recommend this to all my friends and remind them that the nearest shops are about 3 hours drive away.
