"Amazing stay at Anlaby. Our little cottage was gorgeous and the grounds are lovely to wander around in. The breakfast provisions were ample and there were lots of nice little touches. Comfy beds and a lovely lounge area with plenty of comfortable seating. Couldn't fault it."

"We had no choice as there was no where else in Burra. Previous reviews had complained about a step in a dark corridor and nothing had been done to fix this problem and my partner also missed this step and stumbled. At least some yellow tape on the step would help. The corridors are stacked with old boxes and other bits of junk. You do get what you pay for and the room is simply furnished. At least the room was warm. The meal however was wonderful. Would eat there any time"

A few constructive comments - it would be great to have non-slip tiles in the shower area and bigger, more effective air conditioning throughout. Extremely hot in summer (even with air conditioner).
