"This has to be the best hotel I have stayed in for dog walking. It has a restaurant next door that serves excellent food sourced locally. A bit more expensive than a pub chain but well worth it. The same with the breakfast which was excellent.
And the bonus is we could eat in the dog friendly area with our dog."

"We were a family of 20 (9 kids!) staying at this location to celebrate the grandparents 50th wedding anniversary. The location was wonderful and there was plenty of sleeping space and seating for us all to sit and enjoy meals together. However, the communication with the hosts were poor; it took them several weeks to respond to my initial questions. Once we arrived at the property, two of the three toilets were blocked and unusable. Despite contacting them within two hours of check in, it took them over 24 hours to make contact back with us which left our large group with one toilet to use for half of our stay. The roof in the kitchen area leaked when it rained and the entire place needs a thorough clean and decoration. "

"We had a super time at this lovely house, we were a family of 15 - 9 adults and 6 children and 2 dogs. There was enough space for everyone, it was great all being able to sit at the table together. The house was clean and worked well with everything you needed. The location is excellent, a half hour to the beach which we did both days we were there, you are in the forest although we did not have time for forest walks. Lots of pubs around for food, "
