"We went to Carthage for a family member memorial. It was a perfect location as most of the family is in Carthage, instead of having to stay 10 or more miles away. The property was clean, comfortable and parking was good, it was wide enough for us and other renters. Quiet neighborhood, close to the square. We will be staying again when we go back again. Julie is an excellent host, I had a little request which she addressed. Kudos to you, Julie, and thank you so much."

"This is a great place with a beautiful view! It has everything you need for cooking and serving! The place was very clean and neat. The young people loved the pool. The only problem we had was several hornets nests, which caused three little kids to get stung. We bought spray and sprayed the nests."

"The hotel is pet friendly which was very nice when traveling with your dog. I did not see any dog feces on the grounds which surprised me. The breakfast was a nice variety but the eggs and sausage gravy were very bland. The apple and banana were fresh and delicious. "
