"The stay was awesome. We enjoyed ourselves immensely. The remoteness of the property gave us a feeling that we were the only ones there. Yet we had all the amenities one could ask for. The stay could have been better if there was a hot tub. Overall it was wonderful."

"The Redstone Cottage was perfect for our little mountain getaway. It was about 45 minutes from downtown Asheville off a remote private roadway. We were glad to have had an AWD vehicle for the steep stone driveway (this is a must). It was stocked with thoughtful amenities, luxury linens, and was extremely clean. We wished we could have stayed longer because it was so peaceful but Hurricane Helene had other plans. We hope to stay again next time we explore this amazing part of the country. "

"Truly enjoyed the views and remoteness of this home. Bedrooms had great comfortable beds. The kitchen was well stocked and felt like bone away from home. The only recommendation we would make is to have better more comfortable seating with better cushions for the indoor and outdoor furniture. We would absolutely consider coming back if the seating was more comfy."

"Was sent email saying WiFi password was in book on table no WIFI. Owner said there was new washing machine. No washing machine. Spent one night out of 6 . Called owner asked for refund"

"We had a really lovely time hiking in the area and then coming back to the cabin to relax. Sitting in the hot tub surrounded by flowers, hummingbirds, and butterflies. It was a great getaway."

"My 3 lady friends and I stayed in this cabin 3 miles from the trail head of Mt. Mitchell. We had a beautiful view of the forest from the deck. Cabin was perfect for the 4 of us. Everything was spotless and well supplied with all that we needed. Unfortunately, we had rain every day and then Hurricane Helene was forecast for the area. We cut our stay short by one day because of the rising river. The owner was very responsive to all our needs and we got a callback within a few minutes if he didn't...

"Our family of 12 enjoyed a long weekend and it truly was Almost Heaven! From the amazing sunrises and sunsets to the fully appointed mountain cabin, we had an amazing time! Skiing, snowboarding, tubing, and downtown Asheville were all easy driving distances and offered fun for all!Great location and beautiful cabin atop your own mountain! Who could ask for more!"

"We absolutely loved this house. Being able to walk down to the river was incredible. We spent a lot of afternoons fishing and spending time in the water. They even have tubes you can use! The large deck was great for grilling out after some time in the sun. The sleep number bed was also perfect for getting a great nights rest. I highly recommend this property!"

"We have our annual family mountain cabin get away and this stay by far is the BEST one yet!! The pictures are just as beautiful as the place is! It is super clean, and we were welcomed with almost 4” of snow our first night! What a treat for our grandkids! Josh was the perfect host who responded very fast with any question we had. Please do your family and favor and book a trip to this cabin!"

"The property is great. From the small garden path (which makes for amazing star gazing in the evening) to lots of space in the house it made for a great landing place during relief work. Great common spaces for groups to come together, but big enough to find your own niche when you needed some downtime. Great communication from host. I would for sure stay again!"

"Everything is like new. Never used a hot tub before and Melissa texted me the instructions to get it in the correct mode for usage. The washer/dryer was a little too high tech for us. However, it cleaned our clothes just fine. Very quiet here with the South Toe river in back for comfort. Love the stay very much."
