Stayed in the modern room and it was really nice and clean. Air conditioner in the room didn't seem to work when we stayed - it got really hot at night. Apart from that, it was great and convenient to all local spots. Staff were very helpful. Would definitely recommend to anyone considering staying in the area.

Had a good stay at Hotel Arban. Easy to locate, short walk to Seomyeon metro and many buses. Walkable area with lots of street food and restaurants. Room was clean, bed comfortable, temperature nicely adjustable to set lower (not always possible in hotels in winter!). Minor problem with foul smell coming from drains in bathroom but running water for a few minutes and bathroom fan helped to clear. Also breakfast was very basic and a bit disappointing. Stayed 3 nights, only had breakfast once. Ignored other 2 days and went out to find good coffee and food. Still, good value for money to stay here.

Downside was only Korean explanations of facilities, the roof garden was not open (despite great weather!), and at checkout we waited for almost ten minutes but no member of staff came, so ended up writing a note & dropping it over the front desk with the keys.
