"We stayed one night as part of our return journey from the south of France to split the driving. Family room was clean and spacious. Perfect for what we needed. Don’t forget to book the car parking. You have to proactively contact the hotel to arrange and there are not many spaces in the covered hotel parking garage. We were lucky as hotel allowed us to park even though we had not booked. Auxerre itself is charming and worth stopping at. "

"This property was a real little gem of a find. The owners live on site and were there to welcome us upon arrival. They are very friendly and helpful, and although they speak little English (and we speak little French!) it was fun conversing with them. The property is quirky and about as far from a corporate hotel as you can find. There is excellent secure parking. For a true experience of genuine French hospitality, this is a great place to go!"
