"Checking in and receptionist tried to charge me an extra £40 when I paid online for the room. Lots of people shouting and just making noise throughout the night. As for the room it was clean and the bed was very comfortable and we loved the shower room. Also the bar lady was lovely. "

"Good, solid place. It really is a monastery with large grounds and impressive buildings. Welcome was very friendly and helpful. The property is dated, but in fairly good order. Bed was good. Breakfast was cereal and toast type. I was hoping for full breakfast but was not offered. Mirfield also a nice town/village, just avoid school closing time as very busy"
