We enjoyed getting away and this was a great place to stay, however, the price for the time of year was significantly high. I would like to stay here again, but only if rates were better aligned with off-season low traffic.

We had the ocean view executive suite and it was excellent. If you are looking for a simple getaway it's perfect. Very clean rooms, comfy beds, and great views. Only con I would say is the pillows are little too soft but that's nitpicky. Definitely recommend for a quiet getaway.

I was sent a code and link to check in or I could stop in the office to check in upon arrival. Stopped in the office and was checked in within minutes. Talk to the lady at the front desk about good places for dinner. Room was on The ocean. Was very clean and updated nice added touch to have chairs outside on the deck.

Exemplary responsive helpful staff! Nice rooms, well kept with ongoing general maintenance. Great property with many regulars each year. Beach issues right now due to storms but there isn't anything the property management can do about that piece.

This was a wonderful place to stay in one of the quieter, more relaxing towns in the outer banks. The ocean is right outside your door. The room was spotless and super convenient. There is great shopping close by, and the residents are warm and inviting. Would definitely stay here again.

It was a nice place to stay for my husband and I to visit Buxton N.C. being right on the ocean & all the needed amenities for a few night stay! Didn’t see any of the staff as it was a no contact check in so we had all the details for our room & where we were staying before we got there with no problems and was totally easy! Would stay again in a heartbeat!!

Outside needs to be updated a little bit and the rooms could be a little more modernized. Other than that, it was perfect for being close to beach (easy with toddlers) Staff was very accommodating and answered all my questions. I would stay here again for sure!

Nice room, clean pool, clean hot tub, lots of lounge chairs around the pool. A highlight is that the property is very close to the ocean and we could see the ocean from just outside our door. We were able to walk to the water in a couple of minutes to dip our feet in. What we didn't like was that we were on the 5th floor and the place did not have an elevator. It was hard lugging baggage up and down the outside staircases. We helped others who were struggling to do so. While not having an elevator may be typical of many older hotels in the area, we recommend mentioning this in the hotel's description.
