"We had a wonderful stay at Pale Hall. The staff was extremely professional, friendly, welcoming and helpful. The rooms were well appointed and comfortable. The food was delicious. We would definitely return for another stay."
"I stayed at the White Lion on my way down from Scotland. Turned out to be brilliant choice. The hotel has fantastic pub and atmosphere. I really liked the staff, very friendly lot. My room was on the top floor, it was spacious, had a great bed, good bathroom and housecleaning. 👍 It’s central to Bala and Bala is a great village."
"Pretty straight forward needed a night to stay since I was working on the weekend and the room was reasonably priced, staff is friendly, room was cleaned enough and it was comfortable enough that’s all I need so it’s worth going if you don’t fancy forking over a fortune to over places, got a pub downstairs and breakfast in the morning but couldn’t attend to those things as I drive and wake up earlier hours but overall judging the place it seemed pretty decent and I can’t complain."
"I would like to take the opportunity to thank the breakfast supervisor (christine) i think on the 2nd March 2025,nothing was too much trouble, she was back and forth dealing with my enquiry for my breakfast option, and was very sensitive to my intolerances."
"We stayed at Bron Y Graig for just one night during a sports weekend. It’s a beautiful and comfortable guest house with stunning views. We enjoyed chilling out in the bar room playing games and chatting. I adore William Morris print so the decor at Bron Y Graig brought me so much joy! Sadly, we had to leave before breakfast which was such a shame because the smells coming out from the kitchen were delicious!"
"This was our second time staying at the Crown Hotel. We very much enjoy staying here. It’s super easy to access other parts of Northern Wales from her, the breakfast is excellent, and the staff very accommodating. The room was great too."
"Comfortable room with en-suite toilet & shower.
Pleasant staff, bar prices very reasonable. Good atmosphere in pub areas. Food not bad, (cheese sauce on nachos not good)
Would recommend as a good base for surrounding attractions."
"We had a wonderful experience whilst staying at the Penaeldroch Manor. Mike and Carie were wonderful hosts and made us feel very welcome. The apartment was clean and spacious and had wonderful views of the river Lledr.
The locally sourced morning breakfast was fantastic and set up for the rest of the day. Thankyou once again for your wonderful hospitality."
"Staff are lovely and so friendly. Breakfast was great. Only thing for me in terms of improvements is the rooms could do with an update, bathroom was lovely and looked recently refurbished but the bedroom was a little dated, maybe an upgraded bed and TV (and I appreciate we're in the most beautiful place in Wales so who needs a TV but after a long day of hiking I know I love to kick back and chill out, especially when it's February and too cold to sit out) and nowadays most hotel rooms have smart...
"The bedroom was very clean also the bed was comfy the down side was no gym which was told there was when i booked site needs updating didn't have the right information "
"We were met by a very friendly and helpful receptionist and this set the positive scene that was repeated by all the staff we met for the whole of the visit.
The food was excellent along with the service that came with it.
The hotel is as expected ie an old building in need of some repair that was full of atmosphere and history.
The gardens, inhabited by the beautiful resident peacocks were well maintained and nice to walk around. We were only there for a weekend break but I could visualise how...
"A wonderful experience staying at this property. Excellent hosts with a lot of knowledge of the area. The breakfasts were delicious, and I was made to feel very welcome."

"The staff were very helpful, restaurant and food superb, hotel lovely in a great location on the seafront. The only down side was the car park, very small and cramped but there is road parking nearby which seemed to be free after 4pm. Would definitely stay again and recommend it. "
"This hotel spa is absolutely amazing, the views from out room were outstanding. The staff from arrival to departure were all so attentive and friendly. This hotel will always be up there as one of my favourite ❤️"
