"This property was exactly as advertised. It was clean, up to date with modern appliances, clean linens and towels. It was well stocked. Beautiful view of the cove from the front deck. My grandchildren loved being near Barrett Park. Property contact was prompt with answers. A very relaxing stay. We would definitely book again. "

"Our party of 8 enjoyed our stay. The house is well equipped and stocked to get you started. Conveniently located to town and the Botanical Gardens. Plenty of outside space for kids to run around and play. It has a beautiful view of the cove but is very rocky. This didn't stop us from hunting hermit crabs and catching fish. The house is old but that gives it the Maine charm. "

"This is a charming log cabin in an historic log cabin development minutes from town, grocery shopping and within walking distance to a lovely park (Barrett). The "great room" has a wonderful fireplace, high ceilings, and comfortable couches and chairs. The large deck facing the water is beautiful, offering a spectacular view of Lewes Cove in Linekin Bay. You can hear loons, watch cormorants fishing and drying their wings on lobster trap platforms, and see bald eagles fly by and roost in nearby trees. The thistle feeder hanging above the deck attracts fearless chickadees, nuthatches, and tufted titmice, a pleasure to enjoy with a morning cup of coffee. The main level has three bedrooms and one full bath. One of the bedrooms has a sink. The fourth bedroom is located underneath the cabin so you have to descend steps to get to it. It has the second bathroom, which has a small heater, which heats the bathroom and provides some heat to this bedroom. The upper level has a thermostat, which controls the heat on this level. In addition to the steps to the lower bedroom there are steps to get down to the cabin, which is made clear from the VRBO photo and description, so if you aren't into stairs, this might not be ideal for you. The linens, bedding, bathroom and kitchen were clean on arrival. I knocked off a star on cleanliness as the place could have used a more meticulous vacuuming. Finally, Erin, could not be more accommodating. She responded immediately to every request. "
