"We enjoyed the property and loved its location. There were some negatives: a lot of the crockery/cutlery needed re-washing when we arrived, the master bed wasn’t very comfortable and there is no soundproofing in the house whatsoever! But it was in a great location and was perfectly adequate and enjoyable for a week’s stay."

"We enjoyed our holiday. The cottage would benefit from an audit of crockery, cooking utensils etc. eg, more breakfast bowls needed and no teapot lid. A welcome pack in the house giving info how things work, eg recycling, hot water, where to get firewood, and general info of places to visit would be good and perhaps a visitors comments book. Appreciated Mari, the housekeeper, help and cleaning very much. It’s a beautiful building with nice linens and very well located in the area."

"The cottage was easy to find in a quiet village between the coast and the Picos de Europa. It's well laid out and been thoughtfully modernised. Puertas de Vidiago está cerca de muchas playas lindísimas y tiene un excelente restaurante para ir caminando, Casa Poli. "An ideal small cottage to use as a base - well equipped kitchen, an outdoor eating area, great shower (over bath) and comfortable beds. Be aware the road leading to the cottage is quite narrow - we were in a Peugeot 308 wagon and successfully navigated the road, but a wider car may find it quite tight. The stairs from the ground floor to the bedrooms and bathrooms would be a challenge for anyone with knee or hip issues."

"Overall we though the place was beautiful and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The pictures are generally very accurate however the one of the front of the house implies a bit more space than there actually is. Space for one 4x4 (or car). In the Vrbo ad we can't see any suggestion of when the communal pool is open (late June?) so not available in May. There is only a 2or3 seat sofa for a house that sleeps six (as shown in the pictures). The biggest issue for us was the lack of kitchen utensils...
