Extra pillows and blankets in the closet in case you should need them; coffee and tea making facilities in the room would also be nice. "Madreselva was so lovely I wanted to move in!! It’s rustic but comfortable. The rooms are set around a central patio with tables chairs and sofas, and filled with tropical plants which give a cool ambience at any time of day. The staff are all lovely (special thanks to Alba who quickly responded to queries before and during our stay). Even the other guests were pleasant and friendly. We’ll definitely be back, next time for longer. "

"Beautiful hacienda in beautiful surroundings. The dovecote is amazing. Lovely walks. Dog friendly. Spent a lovely day at the coast, ten minutes away by car. Disappointed the restaurant was closed. When we asked about the restaurant we were basically told, "cerrado, cerrado, cerrado", by the woman on reception, with no suggestions of where we might find any nearby restaurants. Found a good restaurant nearby, Louis. "

"My 2nd stay at Casa Aura and again it was completely faultless. The hotel is absolutely beautiful and so tastefully designed down to every detail. The staff are extremely helpful and went out of their way to organise airport transfers for me. Restaurants and shops are within a few minutes walk and the town is unspoiled and stunning. I highly recommend Casa Aura- you won’t find anywhere better in Vejer and won’t have any regrets if you book here. "

"Pleasant place in the middle of the action and surprisingly quiet having a bar in the main level while I was just above. There effectively isn't any parking despite the ad and the area is full of super narrow pedestrian streets so plan ahead. Unless the manager is there, there is nobody to answer the phone. If you arrive early morning or early night you can easily park at the beach for free, close by. "
