Both Fairland Ward Memorial Park and Richie Road Park have picnic areas with covered pavilions, children’s playgrounds and wooded walking trails. Just a 20-minute drive southeast from Cabot is the city of Little Rock. Reach Cabot by flying to Little Rock’s Bill and Hilary Clinton National Airport and then renting a car from there. Airport shuttles and local buses also service Cabot. Use the city as a base for exploring other regions of Arkansas, including the Ouachita National Forest and Ozark National Forest, each around a 3-hour drive away.
