"Located in the heart of Santa Teresa, this was a decent stop for a couple of nights. Bear in mind it is located directly off the main strip, so it is quite loud at all times. That being said, the property is extremely walkable with all amenities close by, and no 4x4 required to access unlike some of the other properties located up the hill. . The living room AC kept the unit cool, and the equipped kitchen was appreciated. Decent price for the space, and property rep was very responsive."

"Super great location. Conveniently close to many amenities including groceries and a yoga place. Quite close to Santa Teresa beach. A tad noisy but is completely acceptable given the other pluses. Ps. Bedding and beds were ve try comfortable! "

"Casa Makai is a beautiful property with an incredible ocean/jungle view & very comfortable furnishings. The filtered water system was a treat, allowing us to fill our water bottles and drink directly from the tap, reducing unnecessary plastic waste. It is secured behind a private gate & monitored overnight by an on-sight security guard, (which didn't seem necessary as everyone in town was exceptionally kind and trustworthy). Josefina, the property manager, went above and beyond in every way...

"This house is the perfect beach house. Our big family stay for three nights. We made a couple of day excursions but other than that stayed at the house, including for meals. It was really relaxing to hear the ocean, hang out outdoors. Sunset viewing, and Dawn ocean swims. Highly recommend. The hostess Pia is super helpful and welcoming."

"A perfect quiet beach with delicious restaurant and bar within its borders. The grocery store made shopping convenient. Close to the bioluminescent and ATV activities. The pool at the property was great. The host was easy to contact when I had questions. I recommend this property "

"Came to surf for 2 weeks. Beautiful place with unparalleled views. Close enough to walk to restaurants and beach, but far enough away from the Santa Theresa strip for some quiet and privacy. Highly recommend "

"I stayed here for three nights with my family. This was a fantastic place to stay, very lovely modern home with lots of space, very close to the beach and lots of places to eat and walk to! The host and house manager were very nice and responsive. We would definitely stay here again. "
