"Loved the quiet, secluded waterfront setting even though it was a little tricky to navigate the "off the beaten path" route to get there. Drive is a little steep. The exterior needs a little freshening up, windows washed, etc. - can be hard to maintain b/c of wooded setting. Wonderful, new spacious deck out front, spent lots of time out there. "We had a peaceful and relaxing weekend. The house was well stocked with pretty much everything you might need. We fished off the dock and caught a wide variety of fish, but we had better luck and caught larger fish in the evening. A huge storm came through and the host kept in contact to make sure we were ok. We ended our stay short because of the county wide loss of power but definitely plan on coming back."

"It was a cabin home we would want for ourselves. It was very nostalgic for both my husband and I. It was far enough away that you could hear nothing, but close enough to get to what we needed. "Wish we had a way to control the weather. The week had thunderstorms and tornado threats most of the week. That caused lake levels to be 2 to 3 ft higher than normal, a very unusual occurrence, according to locals. The house was very comfortable. The spiral staircase was a little bit of a child hazard, but there was a gate at the top of the stairs (2 yr old figured out how to unlock within the first hour in the house and still no mishaps.) "Cabin is very clean and is just as ad claims. Highly recommend screenshotting the passcode as we did not have service to get to it and had to leave the property to be able to get it. We didn't have to go far to get cell service but just a heads up for future guests. Very nice to have the extras offered like condiments and coffees."

"We appreciated the cleanliness for a pet-friendly cabin. There were no odors or any evidence of pets. We appreciated the thoughtful ammenities (coffee, water in fridge,etc) and the well-cared for kitchenware. Our trip was cut short by storms and power was out, but with windows open, it was cool and comfy inside. Would stay again!"
