Bwythan Bach is a little out the way in that you need to get in the car to dine out etc.
Bwythan Bach is a little out the way in that you need to get in the car to dine out etc. the up-side being it's nice and quiet! The party wall to the adjoining property would benefit from some sound-proofing but as it's only the bedroom and the neighbours were very quiet it wasn't a problem. The co-joined semi-derelict house is an interesting project but again didn't detract from our stay although in the summer months a private patio/garden/washing line area would be be handy. The cottage was absolutely spotlessly clean and well equipped - in fact there's probably more gadgets in the kitchen cupboards then we have at home! Unfortunately it didn't leave a lot of space for food. The first floor lounge is a great feature and very comfortable but if you're a TV addict you may prefer a larger screen - perfectly adequate for us, though. The bathroom layout is a bit of a challenge particularly if you're tall but it does the job and as we were only there for three nights it was fine. Never did find the guest book and the information pack was a bit sparse in that the only eating out venue mentioned was a local pub that's now closed and up for sale - can thoroughly recommend the Tavern-on-the-Bay on Angelsey! The books and attraction leaflets are in a built-in cupboard behind the bedroom door that we didn't find until the morning we left! All-in-all well worth a visit, good spot for touring Anglesey and the Llun Peninsular and very comfortable. Review independently collected and verified by Reevoo

We had a fantastic holiday at Bwthyn Bach.
We had a fantastic holiday at Bwthyn Bach. The accommodation is first class, lovely furnished with quality furniture and fitments. The kitchen utensils and crockery, electrical items are second to none, very well equipped for a self catering accommodation, the best we have stayed in in fact. I accommodation is well located a to get to all the sights of North Wales and is a 5 min drive into Caemarfon. We will return to this property sometime for another holiday in this area of Wales. We stayed here for 3 Nights.
We stayed here for 3 Nights. The cottage had been cleaned and the lady that met us explained that all bedding and pillows had been changed /quarantined as best practice to protect all from Covid . Cottage is comfortable and a home from home for visiting the surrounding area . It's in a lovely setting and being at the rear of the grand old house and it's grounds gave a real sense of character. Would recommend and also stay there again .Thanks Review independently collected and verified by Reevoo

Bwthyn Bach, was very well presented with quality linens, furniture & equipment.
Bwthyn Bach, was very well presented with quality linens, furniture & equipment. It is ideally situated to visit the Snowdonia area & all the attractions on offer. There is only one issue that we had with the accommodation - the toilet. It needs to be repositioned as it is too close to the wall on one side & there is not enough room in front of it because of the bath. If the toilet was turned so it faced the door it would be so much better. It was a big issue unfortunately.

excellent accommodation and well fitted out cottage.
excellent accommodation and well fitted out cottage. Might be better to pull the bath out and replace it with a good power shower. Skeptical about the electric heating but it was more than good enough. Caernavon golf club very friendly and would recommend. Zip world absolutely fabulous!

A lovely well equipped cosy cottage for 2.
A lovely well equipped cosy cottage for 2. The cottage is close to supermarkets, town and local beaches (5-10mins). If you want to visit other areas such as Angelsey or Porthmadog etc...these are 30mins from the cottage. The bathroom is quite small larger/taller people may struggle with the toilet as it's close to the bath. Neighbours can be noisy late at night and early morning.
