"I lived in this town for over a decade and was returning to visit some friends and climb in the area. This by far is one of the best upgrades to the SW Colorado area. Whether you want to ski Telluride, mountain bike Phils World, visit the ruins in Mesa Verde or climb in Indian Creek this is the perfect central point to basecamp out of. "My family loved staying in this house. The walls are paneled with wood and there's a cozy fireplace. It is just minutes from Hovenweep National Monument and Sutcliffe Vineyards. I highly recommend a trip to the winery. It sits at the base of Battlerock and is surrounded by gorgeous canyon views, just like the house! Our stay included a free bottle of wine and lots of options for coffee (and it's good coffee, not just standard hotel coffee). The house was very clean which we greatly appreciated....
