The lobby entrance area is very nice. However, the rooms are old and unkept. The carpet was incredibly stained, the bathroom/shower looked like they had been poorly cleaned between guests, the beds had only a top fiat sheet but no duvet or blanket. It was quite loud outside our room until very late in the evening. Our family had a difficult time getting to sleep. Would not repeat our stay there again.

Perfect spot for anyone with children. I was travelling with a friend and stayed here, great spot for kids but lots of pools for adults with no kids too. Bit far from the beach but doable if it isn’t too hot otherwise 10 min drive

Really great resort for families with 3 pools and 2 places to eat and lots happening to keep everyone entertained. Only issue we had was that the main bed was 2 singles pushed together so created an uncomfortable gap in the middle which hurt my husbands back otherwise would have got full 5 stars

Lots to love but lots we didn't like too. Firstly all staff encountered were fantastic so that's good. Bed was comfy, large room and aircon worked well. Beautiful surroundings. HOWEVER no parking near rooms, upper level access is only with stairs and at the time of stay, the back carparks were closed so a long walk including stairs to our room from the car. Room key wouldn't work all facilities such as the laundries and a vending machine but staff rectified it after returning to office. It was hard lugging laundry round the place trying to get in and having great trouble finding the entrance to the second laundry nearer the back of the property. Also seemed a lack of blankets considering aircon was needed to sleep? None on bed and one in cupboard that barely covered the top of the bed. It's a resort so probably all of this wouldn't be an issue if you're staying a week and have time to work out the glitches but definitely soured a one night stay.

very children orientated, which is great if that is what you need. The pictures online, make the resort look a lot nicer than it is. too noisy, woken up several times after 4 am on the first 2 nights we have stayed. The staff though have been really good and the food is also good.

Firstly, the positives: -Price: we got a good price through Expedia for 5 nights. -Location: this is in a good location. Not far from anywhere, even better if you have your own transport, which we did (hire car) If you don't have a hire car, or prefer to be within walking distance of city centres, this probably isn't the right location for you. Although its only a few minute drive in the car to the actual city. -Clean rooms, which was made up each day. -Very nice grounds, gardens and pools (3 to choose from - a large a medium and a smaller pool) -Friendly staff and good service at the reception desk and restaurants. We requested a change of room (due to being placed directly opposite the playground) and they were happy to accommodate this change for us. -If you have a later flight and have checked out already, or if you have arrived too early for check in, they offer a free guest lounge where you can store luggage, sit and relax, use the facilities, etc. There is a microwave in this room. -Family friendly if you are travelling with kids (we weren't this time, we were just travelling by ourselves) -2 restaurants to choose from in the grounds. A poolside café and a pizza/pasta restaurant. Negatives: -Car parking. If you have your own transport or hire car, be aware that there limited parking spaces. There are 3 carparks, however this is a large property, so at times was difficult to find a space, depending on which part of the resort you are staying in. Especially when they ar

Easy and short drive from the airport, room is very average- old and small shower, nothing there to be delighted. We used this place as a transitional stay due to late flight arrival to Port Douglas the next day. It worked.
