The short but steep walk down to the beach was excellent challenge to the fitness of the older members of the party. I would say a car is essential as everything is at least a 10 minute drive away with the bigger supermarkets being about 15 minutes away. "The location of the apartment is superb and David the host could not have been more helpful with all our questions. You are walking distance from the beach and a row of bars and restaurants. The apartment feels like a home - it's stocked with all sorts of useful beach stuff (wind shield, boogie board, sand toys, umbrella etc...). The kitchen has everything you need too.
