"First, let me say that the views were awesome. The house had plenty of room for my family that was coming from out of town to our son's wedding. The beds were comfortable and everything thing was clean on the inside. There are 2 refrigerators and 2 sets of washers and dryers, so if you stay the whole week you can wash what you need to. "We had a chance to spend the weekend with our kids (age 18 and 20), and we couldn't have asked for a better location. The view was spectacular and the home was perfect. It was so peaceful and relaxing, yet there was so much to do—fishing, kayaking, paddleboarding, ping-pong, darts, board games, the list goes on. Everyone had a fantastic time. The only problem is that were only there for three nights!"

"Nice short getaway with the wife at this lovely cabin. Very relaxing and peaceful in a great setting. Only downside was not being able to enjoy the dock as there was another family with kids that occupied it most of the time that was staying at the other cabin on the property. Also, not a clear view of the water from the porch due to the trees but all in all it was a great stay. "

"We were delighted to have found the "Blue" house in Irvington, VA. As soon as we entered we felt at home with every amenity possible for our 4-day stay. A full kitchen to the softest linens the Super Hosts did not overlook one item. The decor was also very tasteful. You could walk to our favorite eateries around the corner at The Local or The Office. The hosts were grand to us and we look forward to returning soon. Highly recommend The Blue House in Irvington for your next stay."
