"Gums and Roses was such a gem to find in the Adelaide Hills! We loved the tiny house; small but has everything you could need, and in the perfect location. Perfect for watching the horses and kangaroos and close to the pubs if you're after a meal at night. Our host was so nice and let us come and meet her horses which was great. We would definitely book here again!"

"Easy to enjoy. Staying in a renovated 160 year old building was great. The modern comforts of heating and cooling ensured a great stay. Help was close at hand but not in the way. Could not fault this place. The connection with history was still there in pictures and stories. Looking forward to June 2025 when this BnB features on television."

"We booked this house for our wedding party and it was absolutely perfect! All rooms were huge and had their own bathrooms. Plenty of space for guests to spread out and have their privacy but also come together in shared living areas. Great location and beautiful gardens! The indoor pool is also great if the weather isn’t on your side!"

"It was a great house for a group of people loved the area. some maintenance is needed - Toilet leaking on floor cistern broken ,running out of water while in shower ,9 people unable to use toilet in the morning the manager addressed this quickly but water pressure took a long time to come through ,a better pump is needed, shower fan not working ,a little garden maintenance .As a food safety supervisor I do not recommend leaving opened food in fridge and pantry ,you don't know how long it has...

Room ticked all the boxes except there was something going on with wet area on carpet in front to bathroom door. "Host was very accommodating however the property description doesn't match reality. Cooking was via a shared barbecue, washing up needed to be done in the bathroom vanity and the restaurant was closed. Most meals required a 20 minute drive to Nairne...or slightly further to Mt Barker. It would be OK for an overnight stay or weekend if you wanted to travel around the Adelaide Hills. Longer stays are very difficult."
